We were quick to adapt
Firstly, we adapted to new safety measures very quickly as a team. The Quickline office had a complete makeover to comply with the new social distancing guidelines. This meant arrows on the floor and protective screening! We also introduced some new measures for our drivers to make sure the delivery vans and goods were kept as germ-free as possible.
Some of our major clients who usually run events were hugely impacted by Covid-19. Luckily, we were still able to continue working with essential businesses, even during the lockdown. We continued to operate efficiently for industries that relied on us such as construction, medical, and print. This meant that at some points in the year we were busier than ever! We expanded our fleet this year and said hello to some new staff members to deal with the increase in demand for our services.
We received our ISO accreditation
In November, we received our ISO accreditation for providing same-day courier services. After an audit by the Centre for Assessment Ltd, they confirmed that we met the requirements for registration! We’re very proud that we now have official confirmation of what we already knew – we provide a professional and efficient service and put our customers first.
We won an award!
This year we also won an award! One of our founding Directors, Andy Martin, was awarded the 30Under30 award by Multimodal and Freight Business Journal for being a rising star within the freight logistics and supply chain industry. You can read more about this here.
Phew! What a year it’s been. We’ve got some amazing things planned for 2021, and we hope to see some familiar and new customers in the events industry.
