‘Quick to Care!

As well as being quick to deliver, we’re proud to be quick to care too. We like to do our bit as a team to support our local community!

St Rocco’s Hospice is a charity that provides free care for people with life-limiting illnesses and they rely completely on outside support such as donations and fundraising. They are based in Warrington which is handy for us as we have offices based in both Manchester and Liverpool – so they are right in the middle!

real5 Chosen Charity

We are proud members of real5 Networking, both the Warrington Central group and also the Liverpool group. St Roccos is the chosen charity for Warrington Central which means that we’ve been able to partake in several fundraising activities such as galas and rambles through the network!

The next challenge we’ve signed up for is the Snowdonia Triple Challenge this year in August. What have we signed ourselves up for we hear you ask…

After an early start and a hearty breakfast, we head to Llanberis, where the cycling part of our journey begins! We will cycle along the shore of Llyn Padam (Llanberis Lake) passing the slate quarries of the Snowdonia National Park towards Llyn Cwellyn. Between the Snowdon Massif and Mynydd Mawr (Big Mountain), we will swap bikes for boots and begin the ascent of Snowdon itself. As if that doesn’t sound adventurous enough already, we will then finish the day with a 2.5-mile kayak across Llyn Padam. After some obligatory photos and team celebrations, we will then head back to the hotel! If you’re feeling kind and would like to support us then please click here for the JustGiving link.

Aside from supporting St. Rocco’s through real5, we also gave up our free time to assist with their annual Christmas Tree collections in January! Every year as part of their fundraising they ask if volunteers can help to collect Christmas Trees. We had a few achy backs the day after, but it was well worth it.
