Earlier this month, we revealed that we received our ISO accreditation. This is really exciting news for our business, so we sat down with Andy and Ste, Managing Directors at Quickline, to find out why the ISO accreditation is so important for our business and what it means moving forward!
Who awarded the accreditation?
We were awarded the certification by Centre for Assessment. They spent 3 full days auditing each one of our sites!
What did you have to do in order to receive this ISO accreditation?
We demonstrated that there’s a capable management system in place that ensures our business runs to a high standard. This involved engaging our management team in the roll out and implementation of detailed operational procedures for the whole business to follow.
What did the audit involve?
The auditors spent a total of 3 days across all our sites. They reviewed our procedures in great detail and also assessed different members of the team to ensure their competence and adherence to the procedures.
What does this mean for Quickline Couriers as a business?
Firstly, the achievement of this accreditation is credit to the work that we have done over the past 4 and a half years. Also, it provides us with a solid foundation from which we can keep growing and improving our business practices. We now have operational procedures in place to ensure the smooth running of the business. Importantly, it shows that our employees are actively engaged in the execution and future development of these procedures.
What does this mean for your customers?
Working with an ISO accredited courier company gives our customers peace of mind that they are working with a quality and well-structured organisation. As well, it shows our customers that we have the correct processes in place to deal with any eventuality promptly and efficiently. Overall, we’re proud to have a structure that ensures our service levels remain consistently high throughout.
